Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Clarkston

Attended for dinner as part of dinner bed and breakfast package with my husband and 6 year old son. Service was initially very good, very friendly staff and order taken quickly/food arrived quickly. Started and main course were excellent. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the dessert although my husband did like his. What I had originally ordered wasn’t available. I heard then tell other tables this but no one told me. I only understood after my dessert arrived and I realised it was different to what I ordered. When the restaurant became busy, staff struggled to cope. There was a 20minute wait for the bill due to a larger tabling payment issue and malfunctioning card machine. The staff were very kind and apologetic. I could see they were trying their best and possibly just a bad night. We would definitely come back as up until dessert everything was great.

Wonderful food & atmosphere with staff who go above & beyond & seem to be a lovely team. We visited on a Friday evening so got to see the amazing dancers who really put on a great show. One small negative was the drinks service was very slow & could be improved but we still had a really great night & will be back.

I've eaten at Ardnamurchan before and it was just lovely. Glad to go back again. It's a bit of a treat as I'm on a limited budget, but it was well worth it. As a vegetarian, there were some dishes I'd never tried, which is always a treat. For starter I had wild mushroom parfait which was as smooth and tasty as anything. I then had roasted celeriac with chestnuts and it was simply divine. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and very friendly and really efficient. Can't recommend Ardnamurchan highly enough.

We always have a great dining experience at McMillans. The staff are attentive, they let you dine without any or few interruptions. Food is excellent, always something on menu for everyone, (my daughter is vegetarian and always loves the choices). Price is reasonable, for drinks too. Always love taking family and friends 🧡 to dine at McMillan

Went for Xmas eve dinner and was fantastic. Service was amazing and the girl sever was brilliant! Great wee place for food and great atmosphere made to feel very welcome! A great place in Cathcart
