- KKarenYorkshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoPub warm and inviting. There was a set lunch menu which was good value, 2 courses for £19.95. We chose off the main menu as we had acquired a £30 voucher costing us£15. All 4 of us had The Barnsley Chop. It was cooked to perfection. Price a bit steep for £24.95 but with our money off it was worth it. Our other diner had risotto and said it was good. Nice house Sauvignon £25. Would deffo go again but would try the set menu.More infoThe Inn South StainleyPrice: Moderate• British• Harrogate•4.6

- LLauraLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had Sunday lunch at the Old Deanery and I cannot fault it. The room we were seated in was full yet I was impressed that it wasn’t overly noisy - I could hold a conversation yet wasn’t bothered by the conversations of others. From the off, the staff were attentive, warm and friendly. I had my baby with me… I was a little reserved about bringing him out for lunch but they made me feel at ease and welcomed him, too. The food was excellent. I think £40 for a set menu of the quality we experienced is exceedingly good value and we’ll be coming back. I also appreciated that this isn’t a “pile it high” style of roast dinner experience. The portions were very generous so you won’t leave hungry, but they were refined… I think this is what sets it apart from other venues. We will definitely be visiting again; and I particularly want to come for breakfast, too!More infoThe Old DeaneryPrice: Very Expensive• British• Ripon•4.8
