Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Lancing

It was a wonderful evening and the food and service fantastic . The only disappointment came from my 18 yo daughter , her friend and my son who is older were ID checked and because they didn’t have their passports or any ID with them , they were refused wine with their meal and any drinks which slightly changed the celebratory occasion. We don’t normally drink but on a special night out we would not have expected to have this to have been refused. I belive that they should tell diners when booking g that without ID they will be refused alcohol . Never has this ever happened before in my life time of dining out with my family. I am 56 and my husband 66 so it was a shock.

Lovely dinner at Terra for our Anniversary, great menu where we could have picked almost anything on it. We had cheese soufflé and mussels to start while expecting the soufflé to be the best choice turns out the sauce for the mussels was probably the best either of us have ever had. Lamb and pork for mains were excellent and really interesting take on them. unfortunately no space for deserts despite how good they sounded. Next time we’ll forego the very nice bread and olives in an attempt to save room. We liked it so much we’ve already booked their Burns night !

Fantastic lunch at The Ivy in Brighton, great food, great service, great venue, can't wait to go back again.

Waitresses made us feel very welcome. The cafe is dog friendly (waitress even provided a blanket for our dog to lie on and some water). Food was delicious and the Chai Latte was best I've had. An ideal place to meet up with friends over lunch.

Can’t argue value it was brilliant - lunch meal deal makes having food out with friends and family cost effective which is great. Some things were out of stock but we found alternatives. Had some issues ordering via the S&L app so used bar instead - bartender was very friendly and professional.
