- JJeffreyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe just dined at Ambar for the first time yesterday evening. The reception was warm and friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We are adventurous eaters, but we had never eaten Balkan food before. Everything we ate (from the lamb lasagna and beef short rib goulash to the roasted baby carrots and beet tzatziki) was absolutely delicious. The “Unlimited Dinner Ambar Experience” is definitely the way to go. There’s no doubt we will be returning customers!More infoAmbar Capitol HillPrice: Moderate• Balkan style• Capitol Hill•4.7

I ordered crab and artichoke dip and shrimp linguine. I really loved the food and vibe of the restaurant. - KKathrynVIPWashington, D.C. Area •38 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI love everything about any restaurant I’ve been to in the Clyde’s group. It’s been a while since I’d been to the Georgetown Clyde’s, but it was just as great as I remembered it being. I rated the noise level as moderate because the overhead music was turned on quite loud, but when asked if they would turn it down, they did. I don’t like to have music playing so loudly that I can’t visit with people right at my table and they were very accommodating. More infoClyde's of GeorgetownPrice: Moderate• American• Georgetown•4.6
- JJosephWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Ottoman Taverna in Washington, D.C., provided a memorable experience for my mom and me on Christmas Eve. We were treated to a wonderful prix fixe menu that perfectly captured the flavors and richness of Turkish cuisine. As someone who had never tried Turkish food before, my mom was pleasantly surprised by the variety and authenticity of the dishes. From savory appetizers to tender kebabs, each course was a delight. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special holiday meal. The service was attentive, and overall, it was a fantastic introduction to Turkish cuisine. Highly recommended!More infoOttoman TavernaPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Mount Vernon Square•4.7

Egg whites especially appreciated, and did not mind paying the extra dollar. I did wish Morris had a real kitchen, though… Charcuterie plates and sandwiches only go so far, and then you want some hot, cooked tasty snacks to with those great cocktails.More infoMorrisPrice: Expensive• Cocktail Bar• Mount Vernon•4.7
