General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. This was our second time at the Chef’s Table for the tasting menu - specially set for my wife’s gluten allergy. An amazing experience - attentive top notch service, friendly staff, and incredible food. We love being able to watch the chef painstakingly plate the dishes and see the care and detail that goes into each dish. We loved every single item that was served. We plan to return many more times in the future for special meals (this was our Xmas present to ourselves).
