- TThomasGreater Boston •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoGreat night out. Excellent Wagya burger and duck confit. Sat at the bar and had mostly excellent service there. Loved the people watching. Decor and ambiance are first rate. Live piano was just right; adds to ambiance without being obstrusive. Valet parking can be a bit of a nightmare, especially on a rainy night. But, it adds to the "movie premiere" vibe in a positive way if you can roll with it. 6:00 is a good time to arrive if you want bar seating. But it fills up fast. Will definitely return.More infoThe Kennedy - HoustonPrice: Expensive• American• Montrose•3.7

We moved to Downtown Houston from San Fran/Napa area around the time Grace’s first opened my husband and I would eat at Grace’s at least 3 times a week. It was always our go to place when friends or relatives came into town. Then it got very popular too fast… long waits. This was our first visit since early 2020. We love the improvements! Will be back.More infoGrace'sPrice: Expensive• American• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.8
- KKellyHouston •2 reviews4.0Dined on 15 Feb 2025Very nice dinner, staff was great, we were the only table that did not have amuse bouche between courses, all other tables did. The tables seemed flimsy and were too close together. The owner of the hotel did come and introduce himself and that was just lovely to hear about his art. Thank you for a nice night.More infoTonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d’OrPrice: Expensive• French• Montrose•4.1

- KKevinHouston •5 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Jan 2025How this only had a 3.9 rating on Open Table when we booked, I'll never know. The restaurant itself was absolutely unique and fantastic. It was unusually inexpensive, especially for that type of restaurant. The food was incredible. The only downside was the small portions- so think 'super fancy restaurant with small portions', but honestly I just ordered a second helping and it was great. Two of us, with drinks, under $100, including tip. We were greeted with Champaign for my wife's birthday. Once caution: the check in process is SLOW because they take you through a metal detector, get your name and ID and then send you up in an elevator two by two. Takes a bit to park in the parking garage across the street too (which is $22- city garage I think, or private). The Foundation Room is on the street level, so don't go to the big House of Blues sign and to the 3rd floor like we did. One other piece- there is NOT live music. There is dinner, then there is a separate show that is booked separately. That wasn't overly clear when I booked. BUT, as a dinner venue, it was a home run. 5.0 all the way.More infoFoundation Room House of Blues HoustonPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•3.9
