- MMarkAdelaide •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThe menu was good and what you’d expect from a wholesome traditional pub. Food and service was excellent. Good selection of craft beers. Reasonably quiet bistro area allowing easy conversations in a relaxed environment. Not really a “5 star dining experience”, but for a traditional somewhat dated pub, couldn’t have got much better.More infoPig & Whistle Tavern - OlindaPrice: Expensive• British• Olinda•4.7
- JJohannaMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoGreat food, amazing wine list, beautiful breeze through big open windows on a lovely summer evening with friends. This place is a big draw card in The Basin! Staff were super friendly and helpful. They adapted a couple of dishes for us which was fab. Would definitely recommend to others as a good place for a meal to celebrate , or just because!More infoThe Peacock DenPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• The Basin•4.6

- AAngieTasmania •6 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Dec 2024We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.More infoCognoscenti Food & WinePrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Belgrave•4.8
