Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Lake Forest

Very enjoyable dinner. The chicken picatta and the Tavern combo were delicious. Nice ambiance - perhaps a tad too dark though as we all had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I was pleasantly surprised they now have house-made pasta, prepared perfectly Al dente too. Squid ink pasta and short rib pasta are the go-to’s. Prior experience with their bolognese made me not want to come back because it’s really hard to mess up bolognese. I think you just have to know what to order. Italian chopped salad also another great one to try.

I loved everything about the winery but the music was sometimes too loud to the point where I could not hear the rest of my party at times.

Emma was our server. She was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good, as usual. We can always count on great service and food when we go to Brio.
