Located in the heart of downtown, The Esquire Tavern is the oldest bar on the San Antonio Riverwalk, opened the year, month and day that Prohibition was repealed. Tending bar in the early days was a highly prized and much sought after craft. Bar keeps then created many of their own syrups, mixes and concoctions and used the freshest of juices with the intention of serving the best products. We at the Esquire have taken a serious approach to the old world of bartending and spun it with a modern twist. Combining classic techniques and new world flavors and culinary concepts, our goal is to lead and set San Antonio's emerging cocktail culture on the map.

Founded in 2006, Luce is a local favorite featuring many traditional dishes. Our menu consists of many Buonincontri family recipes and recipes brought back from travel to Italy. Fresh fish, meats and produce expound throughout Luce's offerings and a focus on the finest ingredients are what make Luce special. House made Gnocchi, Italian rice balls and homemade Mozzarella are just a few examples our passion for the finest Italian food.The word Enoteca means wine library. The walls of the entire restaurant are covered with wine bottles as you would expect books to cover the walls of a library. Opened September 2018, Meadow provides North Central San Antonio with a friendly, fun, warm and relaxing environment to enjoy dinner, brunch and lunch with family and friends. Our menus change frequently as we work closely with local farmers and ranchers to provide our guests with a truly Seasonal Texas Southern dining experience. A beautiful patio with a large wood burning fireplace is perfectly cozy during the cooler evenings.     Well as always Luce’s Ristorante e Enoteca didn’t disappoint. We attended for Valentines Day although we had reservations but we didn’t like their first recommendation to be seated. We requested the library room at the back and we were very comfortable there. Lamb chops were excellent as always, Lobster Ravioli was ordered by two people who truly enjoyed it and another guest ordered the braised short rib and said it was outstanding. To top it off the staff was very cordial and attentive. We had some Stella Pinot Grigio and some Montelpulciano d Abruzzo which was excellent. When in San Antonio a must visit you will leave amazed. 5 Stars as always and to top it off the Owner Joe is on top of all the plates coming out of the kitchen and at times makes his rounds to his guests. 5 Stars

    Had a a wonderful Valentine’s lunch with my sisters. Always The best food and service. I get the hummus ever time and I try not to get fried chicken every time, but it is just so delicious!
