Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Northeast Minneapolis

Fantastic experience overall—service, food, and setting. The Steakhouse is an experience on its own and a wonderful spot for a very nice dinner. It was easy to have a conversation and enjoy the company and food. Highly recommend the Denver Steak!

My partner and I do not like spicy food and found many of the menu items to be spicy. The waitress was helpful in letting us know which entrees/items could be modified though. In the end we were satisfied with what we did order. One unfortunate thing that did happen was I took the time to fill out your survey before we left the restaurant in order to receive a $10 coupon, but they didn’t have any way of connecting that coupon to us because we paid with cash. We left the restaurant as “complete unknowns” unless they use my reservation information.

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.

We had a reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. The person at the front desk checked us in, but then forgot about us.

What a gem of a restaurant. So glad we were able to join a couple friends and enjoy a most wonderful evening. The walleye is to die for.
