- AAlyssaVIPSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat experience! Food did not disappoint and did not feel overpriced. Heard wonderful things about the service which was a little bit slow for us but it was Valentine’s Day and they had a seating at every table so that was understandable. We texted both of our parents from the table to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day and tell them that we’ll bring them to The Pony Room the next time they’re in town. :)More infoThe Pony RoomPrice: Very Expensive• American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.8

Both meals were perfectly cooked - lobster tail with risotto & string beans and filet mignon with potato gratin & asparagus. N&G’s is our go to for a filet over Ruth’s or newcomer “48” and never disappoints. We ordered bread pudding off their regular menu after seeing it a nearby table and it was unbelievable. Our friendly server, Diego, provided excellent service. Their regular menu is great too - we’re big fans of the short ribs and scallops. Highly recommend dining at N&G’s - one of our favorites for a great overall dining experience.More infoNick & G's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Rancho Santa Fe•4.6
- EEmmaSan Diego •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was outstanding. I had the carne asada plate that was marinated nicely with flour tortillas, black beans, and rice. My husband had the shrimp skewers with rice that was very tasty too. We were impressed by the quality of the food. It’s a must try!More infoTamarindo Latin Kitchen- Del MarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Del Mar•4.7
- AAdamVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Feb 2025Great experience. Food and service were top level. So much better than the Tea at the Del Coronado. The servers took such great care of us. Came by the table and offered to refill our tea pots numerous times. Food was very good and freshly prepared. Looking forward to returning. Highly recommend.More infoLobby Lounge at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Moderate• Californian• Carmel Valley•4.3
- JJayVIPLos Angeles •10 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Feb 2025I love this hotel ! The decor is absolutely beautiful at the Fairmont Grande! The Amaya is in the hotel. We were there on a Friday night. I couldn't believe how uncrowded it was. If you like quiet, uncrowded elegance and delicious food this is a go-to. The Amaya is a beautiful restaurant. My only critique is that the lighting could have been just a little dimmer to enhance the romantic feel of the restaurant. Otherwise I love everything about this hotel. Even the decor in the restroom is a work of art.More infoAmaya at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Very Expensive• French• Carmel Valley•4.1
