Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure. With stunning views and multiple fireplaces, comfortable seating for 100+ guests, two lounge areas, deck overlooking the Great South Bay, and both an indoor tavern room and a waterfront bar, The Lakehouse is touted by many as “one of the best restaurants on Long Island.” At night, the deck is illuminated, as is the waterfront lounge area where guests can congregate for after-dinner cocktails. This New American fine dining experience is not to be missed. The Lakehouse can now be reached by boat as well, as guest dockage is available at the new gorgeous bayside locale.*Please note that we not take reservations for particular tables & we cannot promise a particular area or table.

Coming Soon! Opening 7 Days for Dinner and Sunday Brunch - Starting September 24thChef Aless had been cooking French food in NYC at Mon Petit Cafe, her NYC family owned business until 2017. She then opened a successful catering company that's still going strong. She joined forces with her husband Justin a successful NYC restauranteur to create Brasserie. Signature dishes are "Parisian" specialties such as Steak au Poivre, coq au vin and seafood towers. The couple also serves "American" fare with a French twist like the bistro burger and other amazing treats like mussels and fries.Chef Aless was featured on Food Networks Chopped!! Google the "snails episode" The restaurant vibe and decor is a replica of both Parisian and NYC French brasseries. The hospitality is both inviting and professional. The food is simply perfection as Chef grew up on her grandparents vineyard in France and French food comes naturally.

We had the duck fries, peppered bacon, lobster and shrimp wontons, 40oz kobe beef ribeye, mushrooms, Brussel sprouts, augratin potatos, and the juniors Cheesecake. We sat at a table in the bar area and everything was really good. Our waiter Dave was very friendly and helpful... he steered us right throughout our meal.

Excellent spot. Ambiance is excellent. Food was fantastic. Service was even better. Every single person I encountered made me feel welcome and had a positive vibe. From hostess to bartenders to servers to manager and ALL supporting members. Very impressive staff. Live music. Enjoyable. Not over the top. Bartenders were working their tails off. Manager was doing great job looking over every detai. I’m a foodie and a bit of a food and service snob. This place rocks! They understand hospitality and excel at it. Enjoy. Went with my wife for a date night on a Friday night for an early dinner. Table was ready when we arrived. We had the fried burrata for appetizer. Was excellent. We had the filet mignon and beef Wellington for entrees. They were both cooked to perfect requested temperature and tasty. Whipped potatoes and broccoli sides are confirmed delicious. Crème Brûlée for desert was more than enough to share and was off the charts. Heard good things about the brownie but didn’t try. Xo Go here. Don’t take my res spot though. :o)

The bartender was awesome, made a perfect Manhattan ! The table was nice…right by the fireplace, food was excellent. Although the waiter was distracted by his cell phone and not attentive enough, especially for those prices. Service should have been better in this slow night.
