Villa di Geggiano has for more than five centuries, been renowned for hospitality and generosity as well as delicious food and sumptuous wines. 'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. The same friends and I came back to High Road Brasserie as it is really good. They were able to move our table away from the noisy family parties. The new table situation was perfect. Great staff really superb cocktails and lovely food. Another fantastic evening. We will be back soon!

We had a family lunch on a Saturday. There was no problem getting a table for five. We all enjoyed our food very much including our fussy grandson. There was a bit of a hitch with the service on this occasion as the waiter only ordered three of the adult main courses and one of us had to wait quite a long time. On other occasions service has been fine so I think this was possibly due to an inexperienced waiter. It didn’t spoil the occasion and we would happily go again as the food is good.
