- MMarnaVIPNew York City •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have dined frequently at the Griswold Inn but last night was the first time we dined there with the strolling carolers. It was really quite special such a beautiful historic location to have a holiday meal with the people you love and a little bit of Christmas spirit! The short ribs, as always, were on point and delicious and I don't know you did something extra good to the mashed potatoes last night too! We also loved the oysters and the baked cod was so fresh and yummy.More infoThe Griswold InnPrice: Expensive• American• Essex•4.5
- TTinaNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoVery nice stay at Barons Cove. The Christmas dinner was good but excellent. The desserts were excellent. The foggy pudding with espresso gelato was worth waiting fir it to end the experience on a high nite. We didn’t except exceptional since it’s Christmas Day but it was good. Service was very slow however the staff were delightful and attentive when they came to the table. Thank you for making our Christmas special for a couple who had no plans or family to visit for the holidayMore infoThe Restaurant at Baron's CovePrice: Expensive• American• Sag Harbor•4.3

- OTOpenTable DinerNew York State •1 review4.0Dined on 29 Nov 2024Wonderful food, attentive service, but very noisy. Cries out for a carpet or any sound abatement that might allow conversation at a table for 2 to4. Miss the old original Gurney’s corny Italian rococo decor that was a relief from the now ubiquitous “ zen”running to “ Amish “ look of un inviting plain colorless Uber simple gray fixtures. Looks as if it was decorated by Monks who have taken a vow of poverty. Art work is all black, gray and during late fall no view of gorgeous ocean after early sunset. No music either but the noise would drown it out anyway. Very pricey for teensy portions.More infoScarpetta BeachPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Montauk•4.4
