We chose from the lunchtime special menu which had lots of variety to choose from and is exceptionally good value. Each dish was beautifully cooked and presented (loved the added sparkler in my dessert because it was my birthday). Service was excellent, attentive but not over the top and not rushed. Ambiance for a lunchtime just after New Year was great, plenty people in which tells you what a gem it is. Thank you for making my birthday so enjoyable. We were accompanied by our little shih tzu and our waitress made sure he had water and biscuits. I had battered haddock and chips which was delicious - one of the best fried haddock I had ever had. My husband had the burger and french fries which he also enjoyed very much.
