- EEarlChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a very romantic and relaxing afternoon for the Sunday Brunch! The atmosphere is great. The dining area was not overcrowded with tables giving us a perfect setting view mountain views, both chairs facing the windows so we were in our own little slice of happiness. The food was top notch. The hot items were actually kept at an appropriate temperature, not lukewarm like the typical buffet. The cold items including the assorted gourmet cheeses, LARGE shrimp, oysters on half shell, chilled grilled vegetables were plentiful. My only request (nt a complaint) was that the carving station only served Prime Rib. A second item, like oven roasted Turkey Breast with gravy and fresh cranberry sauce would have made this spectacular. The price of $50/person included a complimentary champagne or mimosa (with $1 refills) as well as unlimited coffee, iced tea, and soda... OH, and the various mini desserts were made in house and were delicious. I had 5, including 3 that were presented by our server on a decorated plate with a candle for my 65th birthday! Prices are higher on special weekends like Easter and Mother's Day, but my understanding is that the menu is also expanded for special events.More infoThe Grill at Hacienda del SolPrice: Very Expensive• American• Foothills•4.5

- SSharonTucson •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had the perfect Valentine's Day experience at Renee's on Valentine's Day. For this special occasion, they required a reservation and pre payment of $100 for two of us, which seemed reasonable to me. Our table, a booth, was toward the quiet back of the restaurant and was very private, which we liked. The relaxing dinner included salad (he had spinach/goat cheese, I had Caprese), a main entree which we chose (chicken breast with zucchini noodles and sun dried tomatoes (excellent!), a glass of wine, and a dessert to split. It was a beautiful evening with excellent food, and we were reminded of how a visit to a small, quiet restaurant like Renee's feeds our souls as well as our bodies.More infoRenee's TucsonPrice: Moderate• Italian• East Tucson•4.8
