Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Gunbarrel

Nice ambiance, cozy feel. Plenty of food though nothing was excellent, just okay. I had higher expectations and didn't feel worth the cost.

Grimaldo was a wonderful server, very professional and kind. The food was superb, our compliments to the chef! This was a special dinner with family who came from out of town, so we were thrilled to take them to Jill's, our favorite restaurant.

We had a wonderful valentines dinner at Gemini. Even though it was completely full, the food was overall quite good (one exception, see below), the wait staff attentive without hovering, and the ambience relaxed. We had two (minor) hiccups preventing this from being a perfect meal (the way it usually is here): There was a longer than usual amount of time between when our appetizer/salad came out and the entree/sides were delivered. in fact, we felt the need to inquire whether our entree order had somehow got misplaced - but it did get delivered and of course was quite tasty. The other issue for us was we ordered a crab/endive dish that included flavors that neither my wife or I really appreciated - the endive was more bitter than typical (and I use endive a fair amount in my own cooking), overpowering the crab. But, that may just be our taste buds, your. mileage may vary!
