- CChristopheWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined todayExcellent food - very original and refined I am in total disagreement with the massive main course - but I agree it’s personal and it fits with a Modern American approach Yet for me it caused a brutal breach in what had been so far. Perfect meal - again the direct jump from 2 pounds of meat to desert is harsh On the cocktail side - originality On the wine side - great list - a pity the sommelier does not come to help more - the level of the wine (and its cost) should get us that much Those disappointments should not hide that the place has a great atmosphere and ambianceMore infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7
- BBrittWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy friend and I had a fabulous experience here, I I’ll definitely be returning. Everything was delicious from the cornbread to the pecan pie, 10s across the board. The service was also top tier, Jakarri had great recommendations and was very attentive.More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
- NNickLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is a really happy place - good food, lively conversations going on all around, good service - and the price is very fair. The location is nicely situated on a fairly busy corner with beautiful windows overlooking downtown DC.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- LLeslieVIPWashington, D.C. Area •123 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoThis was my first time at this restaurant. The decor was quite nice. The food was imaginative and well prepared. The service had issues. We arrived when the restaurant opened. We were seated and then the entire staff disappeared for about 10 minutes. When we asked, the waitstaff said, "for a staff meeting" leaving us with no food or water on the table. I feel a staff meeting should be concluded before the door opens for the evening. Afterward, the service was friendly, enthusiastic and completely incompetent. It appears that the staff has never been trained. This is an up-market restaurant. There was no wine list. The choices were effectively red or white. I had to ask to see the bottle to determine my choice between the two whites. I could go on., but the bottom line is, TRAIN YOUR STAFF!More info1123 By Chef TobiasPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• Hyattsville•4.5
- MmaryWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had reservations for four for bar seating and it was a very pleasant experience. The drinks were delicious and had a twist of Asian flare. The pine nuts in some of the drinks were so delicious it really brought out the flavor of the drinks and the wrapped the combination of the flavors very well. The tuna tartare with the seaweed chips were yummy and the oysters were fresh and delicious. I would definitely come again to relax and catch up with friends and enjoy the ambiance. Although the bar seating was small, it felt very cozy and felt more attended to. I definitely want to come back for their dinner course meal.More infoSHIA RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Washington•4.9
