- BBrianUtah •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food and service are exceptional (as you would expect). Biscuits are to die for, skirt steak and ribeye, cooked perfect. Green beans spicy and flavorful. For some reason, the acoustics in dining room aren’t so good to listen to dinner companions. Other than that ambience is great with good lighting, beautiful ferns and plants. Only build for January would be to offer some mock-tails or NA beer (dry January). There is no menu for cocktails, but when I asked the waiter if he had one, he told me the bartender could whip something up. He came back with a NA spritz which was delicious!More infoManhattan Beach PostPrice: Expensive• American• Manhattan Beach / Hermosa Beach•4.7
- BBeatriceVIPOrange County •26 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMy daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Each dish was savory and creatively and artfully displayed. We were puzzled by one dish: the obsidian mirror. We discovered that the "food" was the thin layer of black smoked mussel and plum resting on top of the black round container. We used a large mussel shell as our spoon, which was different. Our favorites: seasonal paradox (full of flowers with peas and kiwi), oat porridge bread, sea urchin (a supplemental with a splash of Pedro Ximénez 1931 sherry - such a unique combination for dessert!), and layers, the last dessert of the evening. Service was excellent. Vespertine ranks high among the Michelin starred restaurants we've enjoyed throughout the years.More infoVespertinePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Culver City•4.8

- BBrandonSouth Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Dec 2024Had a reservation at 7pm that I booked the day of with my girlfriend. We arrived at 645 and a sweet young hostess had our table ready and sat us immediately. Upon walking in, we both noticed how inviting and vibrant the energy in the room was, the atmosphere here on a Saturday night is awesome. I ordered the baguette immediately just to get something on the table. It was soo freshly baked it was unbelievable. Our server Tess suggested some of the wines from the Slay vineyard so I had a pilot noir and my girlfriend a vermentino. She loved the vermentino and went on a google rabbit hole to research this grape varietal which was new to us. I got a steak cooked medium rare it was excellent she had the mussels to complement her wine choice and was very happy. Dessert was a chocolate flour less cake (gluten free). It was a damn good way to finish the meal and went well with my pinot. All in all atmosphere was cozy and alive feeling, food was really good, our server Tess was very friendly and her suggestions were greatly appreciated. Fete is a must try if in Manhattan Beach looking for a new experience. Nice job Fete!More infoFête Bistro by SlayPrice: Expensive• French• Manhattan Beach / Hermosa Beach•4.6
