- RRyanToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFood was outstanding. Papaya salad and jerk pork belly are a must order together. Also the curry goat is incredible. We ordered the biscuits with it to mop up the sauce (server recommended this) and was a great shout. The biscuit with honey butter could be a whole meal on its own. Best one I’ve ever had.More infoCompère LapinPrice: Expensive• American• Central Business District•4.6

- LLucyMississippi •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI love going to the Fountain Lounge. I was disappointed to see that the menu had been slightly changed. There was an item (some type of fondue) on the menu that I very much enjoyed and looked forward to eating it again. Sadly, it was not on there anymore. One more thing, please consider serving softer butter that can be spread on bread. The noise level was horrible. The gentleman playing the piano was fantastic but was just too much with ppl talking, visiting, etc. The barrel chairs need to be replaced. They were so low the table seemed to be right under my chin. Once seated, it seemed forever to give our order. Lots of ppl working but seemed to be few to take our order. It wasn't an unpleasant experience but it was not the same Fountain Lounge that I have enjoyed in the past. I will definitely be back.More infoFountain LoungePrice: Moderate• Bistro• Central Business District•3.8
- RraymondNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI have never had a better dining experience in all of New Orleans. The tasting menu was of three Micheline star quality, the service impeccable and the library dining room quiet and elegantly appointed. The best course was the spoon bread course with caviar and Rodolphe le Meunier butter. Outstanding!!! If you don't eat here you will miss the best dining experience in all of Louisiana. As a member of the James Beard Foundation in NYC, I give it 5 stars.More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
