- DDavidVIPChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSimply put, one of the best fine dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The service was flawless and the dishes were sublime; each one seemingly better than the one before. The wine list is exceptional and not to be missed. Some very pricey bottles but also some great values, especially some of the aged selections. A beautiful space with staff that clearly cares about making the evening a fun and memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!More infoKatoPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Asian• Downtown•4.8

- CCyrusVIPLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on 5 Mar 2025Must haves: oyster, hamachi crudo and octopus. Our main dish was Japanese wagyu not on the menu; pretty good but cost $$$$$ as predicted. I would order the appetizers again. Service was so good too.More infoThe Royce Steak HousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Pasadena•4.5
- SSkyrunner83VIPLos Angeles •10 reviews5.0Dined on 2 Mar 2025Dining at Eigikutei was nothing short of extraordinary. Their vegan kaiseki dinner was a remarkable —each course thoughtfully crafted with precision and artistry, capturing the essence of traditional Japanese cuisine. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the delicate balance of flavors to the stunning presentation that made every dish feel like a work of art. One standout was the sesame soy broth used for the shabu shabu course—rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Its depth of flavor perfectly complemented the meal, adding an extra layer of warmth and indulgence to the experience. The service was equally remarkable—warm, attentive, and reminiscent of our experiences in Japan. Every element of the evening, from the ambiance to the seamless pacing of the meal, transported us back to Japan. Eigikutei has set a new standard for plant-based fine dining. Whether you’re vegan or simply a lover of Japanese cuisine, this is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommended!More infoEigikuteiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Little Tokyo•4.6
