- KKaia RoseNew York City •1 review5.0Dined todayMy friends and I recently attended an amazing pasta-making class at Aunt Jake’s with the incredible Chef Anthony, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! Chef Anthony not only taught us how to make pasta from scratch but also kept the whole class laughing throughout. His humor was the perfect touch, making the learning process even more enjoyable. He had everyone smiling as he shared tips, tricks, and a few hilarious stories from his time in the kitchen. The hands-on part of the class was a blast! We learned how to make pasta dough, roll it out, and shape it into beautiful creations. Chef Anthony’s clear instructions and funny anecdotes made it feel effortless, even for us beginners. We also ordered separate dishes, which were delicious, and got to take home the pasta we made to cook later. The pasta, drinks, and dessert we enjoyed at the end of the class were the perfect reward for all our hard work. The warm, welcoming atmosphere at Aunt Jake’s, combined with Chef Anthony’s lively personality, created an unforgettable evening. If you’re looking for a fun night out that’s both entertaining and educational, I can’t recommend this class enough. Chef Anthony’s humor and expert guidance made the experience even more enjoyable.More infoAunt Jake's Pasta ExperiencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Upper East Side•4.9
- NNedaNew York City •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had previously been to the location in DC so we had high expectations and they were partially met! If you go try the whole fish, and celebration rice but skip the kebabs, the value is not quite there for the portion size. The Turkish coffee is excellent, and the staff was kind and caring to check up on us several times to ensure we were having a good experience which we really appreciated. Additionally, we were celebrating a birthday and they surprised us with candle in our dessert which again we thought was very sweet. Our guests from out of town loved the ambience and they are extremely picky. Thank you.More infoZaytinya - New YorkPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• NoMad•4.5
- SSarahNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI’ve never had a restaurant give me such a constantly phenomenal experience until I dined at tán. From the start, we were greeted by Camila, who did an incredible job accommodating our party from the first phone call to confirm, all the way until we were all seated. The ambiance in the restaurant makes you feel like you’re on vacation in Tulum- it’s so beautiful inside. Ethan, our server, was incredibly personable and recommended incredible drinks—mocktails included— and his food recommendations were spot on. He even gave kudos to Fernanda, the pastry chef (we all did, as dessert was literal perfection- please try the corn cake). The manager, Emilio, was the cherry on top of the evening. Welcoming, warm, informative- and checked in multiple times through the evening, ultimately ensuring that the birthday guest had the most incredible time, which was certainly the case. He even gave us a mini-tour on the way out of the restaurant at the end of the evening. The whole party is convinced that the best front of house staff in the entire tri-state area were hand-selected, rounded up, and all placed in tán restaurant. Well done xoxo we’ll absolutely be back soonMore infotánPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Midtown East•4.6
- NNicoleSan Antonio •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis place is just perfect! First we had the Parker rolls (must have) the whipped butter with garlic was so tasty!! Second we had the wedge salad which was very fresh and the spicy ranch was so good. Third we had the skirt steak with twice baked potato. Skirt steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The cranberry pear punch cocktail was great!! All around great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!More infoThe AldermanPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.2
- MMichaelCharlotte •49 reviews4.0Dined on 14 Dec 2024This was our first time at the new location, and it was stunning! The food was as delicious as always, and our server was fantastic. But unfortunately, she had to leave as we were finishing dinner. We would have loved to meet the server who would be taking over since we were done with our dessert and waiting for someone to come over. Romina helped us with our coats as we left, and I took a moment to ask about the space upstairs. She was so kind and gave us a quick tour. Even though we had a great time, Armani will still be one of my favorite restaurants in NYC.More infoArmani Ristorante 5th AvenuePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Midtown East•4.5
