Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Virginia Highland

The oysters were fresh, the entrees and the sides were beautifully cooked and seasoned. The dessert (cloud something) great presentation but unbalanced flavor (the amount of alcohol overpowered the flavors of the cake and berries a bit too much). The cucumber stiletto cocktail and old fashioned were smooth & well flavored, and the vibe, the ambiance, and the decor ate and left no crumbs. It got really busy at one point while we waited on dessert, and we were told the kitchen got backed up, but it was snowing and most other places in town closed due to the weather, this place stayed open.

Bistro Niko is the best! The ambience and decor are perfect. It's a French bistro with an all Atlantan bar on Peachtree St. What could be better than that? Well, sophisticated southern hospitality imbedded in French charm, a dozen fresh oysters and cocktails, Frisee salad, duck breast entree with a glass of cabernet and maybe some profiteroles for dessert. Perfect.

Wonderful experience. We used to go to the one in Charleston and we discovered the one here and this one here is even better than the one in Charleston. The food, the service, the ambience everything was wonderful. 

Pleasantly surprised - we were facing super long lines & no reservations in downtown Atlanta - decided to try 9Mile from the open table reviews - grabbed an uber & secured a reservation for 7:30 - such a nice restaurant - pleased that even though it’s on the roof there is inside & outside seating - being from Arizona we chose inside bc it was cold for us. Food was excellent, service was fabulous - everyone was very friendly! Highly recommend!
