Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Wildwood Crest

The food and service was good. It was  pricey , it was a birthday dinner. Which we mention when we Made the reservations. It was the first restaurant that never Even mention it, that was a surprise.

My husband and I did a weekend getaway to Cape May and the main reason we went was because we heard how great this restaurant is. Chef Anthony and team lived up to the hype. If the venison special is on the menu, run, don’t walk to get a table. We loved our experience!

Not you average restaurant. Loud. Dark. Could even be uncomfortable for some. Should go with conversationalists. Dinner will be near 2 hours long. Course by Course. 8, 9, 10 courses - who knows that night. The mystery is not for some but makes the place for us! Tapas on steroids. Though each portion is small perhaps save for one 'main', it will be unlikely if you leave less than full. You kind of have to experience it to really know, but, if you like most foods, like some mystery, like a nice leisurely pace with your friends and find a funky and ecclectic setting 'fun' you will like Shamone. Always my favorite place for brunch. From the bread basket to the tree with beignets - and the delicious plates in between it is outstanding. Bring some bubbly and friends and enjoy the ambiance and delectable dishes.

Petunia is a great place to get into the holiday spirit, cozy and well decorated. Perfect place for 2 or more. The baked brie is a delectable starter to share followed by the wedge. My venison pappardelle was perfection, the meat was so tender and the pappardelle melted in with the flavors of the venison was just perfect. I usually take half of my dinner home, but not this dish - all was enjoyed with not a leftover. My guest had the spaghetti and meatballs, I think there are better options on the homemade pasta menu, but he enjoyed it very much. We ended with a cannoli and French press coffee - it was a 5 star dining experience....
