Best Romantic Restaurants in Bedford

It was a lovely place for Christmas dinner. There were some larger groups, but it was mostly tables of two, three or four people, so it wasn’t at all noisy. The Inn was decorated beautifully and the staff was friendly and efficient. There was a special menu, which included vegetarian options. It was the perfect place for us and we appreciate that they were open on Christmas day.

They’re back. New players or old, whoever is behind the reincarnation of this classic establishment has nailed it. Amazing staff throughout plus a great menu backed up by a kitchen that turns out delicious, beautifully presented dishes. All in a venue with a magical, transformative ambiance.

First time dining at Vela. Loved it from beginning to end. We were late due to traffic and rushed due to covid start time - but the host and wait staff accommodated us beautifully . Lovely service, delicious food. Will definitely return.

Vida was packed last night. 💃🏻 This is a brand new restaurant in Thornwood by the talented husband and wife duo at Augustine’s in Mamaroneck… Brianne Myers and Marc Taxiera. I love them as humans and am in awe of what they do as creatives/restauranteurs. I was worried about this newest endeavor only because their presence, in addition to incredible food, is such an integral part of Augustine’s success. How will they be able to nurture this baby as beautifully as their first? After visiting last night with a few friends, I no longer have any fears. Vida has been open a month and it felt like it had been operating successfully for years. I am neck deep in Christmas everything, but I am just so happy for Brianne and Marc, but also for Westchester. We needed some new “Vida” around these parts. Will def include comments under the photos. One more thing… omg the food. Oh and the glassware. and the patio that we will all enjoy in the Spring! ok… gotta go! So many gorgeous details. Incredible food, killer dining and bar areas. We definitely will be back.
