Best Romantic Restaurants in Belle Meade

I hosted a company dinner at Maggiano’s. The atmosphere and food was fantastic. I highly recommend Maggiano’s, especially for a large group of people.

We had a reservation and it wasn’t busy when we came. Our waiter isn’t to blame but we waited 30+ minutes before we were able to be attended to and eat because we were told a different waiter had already left (our supposed waiter). They brought out fries for us to eat ahead of time but it was warmish. Service was good after we finally got someone and the food overall was alright. We had 3 different pizzas, 2 burgers, and an appetizer. Could’ve definitely been a better experience.

We’ve had another magical Christmas Eve dinner at RH Cafe. The salmon, potato puree, and asparagus were delicious, as always. And the caramelized banana split was one of the best desserts we’ve ever tasted. The whole experience was made all the more delightful by Taylor, our server. She was perfect, in every respect. A special thank you to Kayla, who kindly checked our coats. As much as we love the food and gorgeous setting, we would not keep coming back if the staff wasn’t so consistently wonderful.

Christmas Eve was extremely busy. There were more children than a usual night, making it more noisy than anticipated. I reserved a table. But there were none available when I arrived for my reservation. I was offered to sit at the bar because they didn't know when a table would be available. I understand that it was a bust night, everyone and everything was great, except I was just put to the side as a single person at the bar. I was there for 2 hours due to the fact that the staff was more worried about the larger tables. That was my only complaint. It was my birthday, so I was a little letdown. Otherwise it was a fantastic restaurant. The food was the best French food I've had since I was in France.

PF Chang’s has reinvented itself. The new menu has so many good options and the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and engaged. They also have managed to keep the cost reasonable that has been such a challenge the last few years.
