Best Romantic Restaurants in East Amherst

First time dining at this restaurant. Arrived early and was seated immediately on a very busy evening. Hostess was beyond friendly and pleasant. Difficult to see the menu based on lighting. Was brought an adjustable table lamp. That was an amazing first anywhere. Our server, Victoria, had a top notch command of the entire menu easily answering questions and making relevant recommendations. Amazingly professional and friendly young woman. Food was outstanding from cocktails, to apps, to entrees, to desserts. Everything perfectly prepared and brought to the table at the proper temperature. Lovely presentations. Service was impeccable throughout. Menu is pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I will definitely recommend to others and return again.

We selected Russell's to celebrate the missus' birthday. Great dining experience! The proprietor, Russell, welcomed us at check-in. Our reservation was for 5PM and this enabled a bit of quiet. We were greeted by our server, Chris, who explained the specials. We were not rushed in making our selections, nor were we ignored. Our service was prompt with a fair interval between courses. We also had a separate staff person to bus our table and keep our water glasses refilled. The staff was not pretentious or snooty, always courteous. My wife made a point of speaking personally to Russell to thank him for a memorable evening. We'll return soon!

Always love the lasagna, bolognese and beet salad

The food was fresh and plentiful, with multiple vegetarian options available. My boyfriend and I shared a souvlaki plate with spanakopita and an appetizer and that was enough for the two of us. Anthony took good care of us, with kind attention, recommendations, and prompt service.

Sean was an amazing server who took such great care with the four of us. We so love coming to the melting pot. We always have great service and the food is absolutely excellent!!
