Taft and Mexican President Porfirio Díaz met for a summit in the El Paso-Juarez border; the land commonly known as El Chamizal. Flags were lowered and the borderland remained neutral territory. Born in a family with a passion for Gastronomy and Oenology, we opened our first French Wine Bistro, Cepage[s], in Notting Hill, London in 2014. Driven by the success of Cepage[s], my father Felix Cohen, who lives in Grenoble (French Alpes), came with the idea to open an authentic french cuisine restaurant in El Paso. Our name, Entrecôte, is a very popular Ribeye Steak dish served in bistros and specialty restaurant in France. Our server was very professional and attentive. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name. Overall it was a nice dinner, however, they had a live musician, which is nice, but it was too loud. As soon as we sat down, I had to ask our server to turn down the volume. We couldn’t chat without shouting at each other. The server handled it and the volume was better.
