Best Romantic Restaurants in River Oaks

We reserved a table outside but it was very windy so, we asked to moved closer to the bar where the wind wasn’t too bad. We waited about 3 min then I walked up to the hostess to ask again about us being moved? She said we had to wait even though we had a reservation. I believe the manager over heard and offered us another table and we decided to sit at the bar. The manager comp 2 drinks for us and made sure we were comfortable even coming back later to check on us I thought that was very classy. My only suggestion is that the ladies working at the hostess station should work on their customer service more to ensure the best guest experience. Despite the wind my date and I had a good time we even got a picture of the moon!

Our server(wish I remembered her name) was excellent. So much so that we actually spent some time talking about how attentive, informative, not overbearing, and thoughtful she was. The food was excellent, we each had something different burger, omelette, chicken sandwich, mahi sandwich. We shared the ridiculously tasty Bimini bread. Very accommodating when it came to tweaking meals and drinks to our liking. This was my best visit yet!

Best Sea Salt Prawns. Sunshine did an excellent, professional job. The picahna was cook to perfection. The fried rice delicious. The fusion of flavors were excellent.

We have been to Rendezvous several times. Each time has been an outstanding experience. We like to sit by the water, but the inside is nice, too. The food and atmosphere at Rendezvous are just what a waterfront seafood restaurant should be. Last night Adam was our waiter. This is the third time Adam has helped us. He tops off the Rendezvous experience with efficiency, good menu advice and a delightful sense of humor. Thumbs up for Rendezvous!
