Best Romantic Restaurants in Irving Park

Loved the food combination. Sat at the counter and the team was very chill and attentive to the details. The flavors and spices (the spices!) stood out from each small plate. Doubled down on the tacos and margaritas because you only get so many opportunities to catch lighting in a bottle. Dope experience overall.

This was our first visit. The service was superb in all aspects. The food is inventive and well prepared. Not all dishes were fully successful but all displayed creativity. The deserts wrere wonderful. The ambience was very comfortable and inviting. All staff. were friendly and welcoming. A word of caution. The City of Chicago in their infinite wisdom has installed bike lanes on Milwaukee Ave. and effectively reduced street parking by 50 percent. There is valet parking next door and save yourself aggravation by using it.

Fantastic as ever in every way. Delicious gluten free and vegetarian options and they ask if you need “no contact” with anything with gluten in preparing the gluten free food. I’ve loved this place for decades and it is still popping!

It’s crazy to think there are only three of these restaurants left in the world. We used to go to the Oak Brook location but now we finally got to visit the one in Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this was the original one. It’s a classic French bistro fare with amazing servers and food. I highly recommend the steak and frites!  make sure to get your reservation early because we had to dine at 4:45 PM due to later dinner times not being available

Food was excellent. Not rushed. Try the eggplant.
