Best Romantic Restaurants in Old Montreal

We did the Monday- Wednesday dome experience for my husband’s birthday. Overall, the experience was divine- the restaurant was incredible, the service was amazing along with the food. We added the wine pairing to our pre-fixed menu and it did not disappoint! Where things did not go well was with the hotel itself. Upon arriving for our dinner on the Terrace- we opted for Valet parking in which the young man working the valet asked us if we were paying cash or by card. When we indicated cash he instructed us to park on the street just outside out of the driveway. When we finished our dinner as we approached the lobby- the hotel manager Eliana essentially treated my husband as a delinquent and was extremely frustrated by the fact that our car was parked where her employee instructed us to park it. On top of that there was a ticket agent there, writing up cars that were parked on the street and he let us know that it was the hotel manager that called and complained. Especially coming from an establishment of this stature- the experience was extremely poor and completely took away from the wonderful time we had in our restaurant. When explained to the Manager what her own employee told us to do and expressed that she would see it on the cameras.. the best she could offer to rectify this issue was offer free valet parking for the future. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Nice. Wasn't blown away but nice. Bar staff was cute. That's a bonus.

Family of four (2 adults, 2 tweens) had dinner on a Monday night. I was impressed by how busy the restaurant was. Great atmosphere, with cozy tables. We were a bit disheveled from traveling all day and my husband couldn't find parking so was running late, but our waiter was super flexible and great with the kids. He joked with them and brought my daughter more bread after seeing how excited by bread she was. The food was great and we enjoyed the live entertainment during the meal. It was a great end of a trip (and didn't involved pizza for dinner!)

Second time here- first time was for dinner and the second was for breakfast. Delicious food, cocktails and great service!

The food was incredible. I was a guest in the hotel, and this is very convenient for guests but also just a very nice restaurant. The food was amazing, and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend.
