Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Food was tasty. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. Will be back. Steak and potato was amazing, lobster pasta was good but slightly over hyped. Tomato sandwich is a must. Only thing we didn't like was the tuna crudo, fish was nice quality but the olive caramel was nasty.

Michael was great, very knowledgeable, pink sauce rose linguine Pasta with lobster was supreme, my son loved the rib eye steak, mushroom risotto was excellent. Do not leave without tasting the mint lime pinnacle cotta and grape sorbet, very delicious. I just wished the focaccia bread would be fresher and affogato be available next time. We are certainly coming back. Thank you Michael
