Best Romantic Restaurants in Royal Oaks

The food is always great here, it is my second time dining here. However, the floors are always dangerously slippery. My first visit I almost slipped wearing sandals, this last visit I wore shoes and my whole party experienced and mentioned the slippery floors, made it difficult to walk thru the salad bar thinking we’d slip and fall with our food in hand.

Everything was going great until our server disappeared When we were ready to leave , he was nowhere to be found. He finally came out and we asked him for the check and he disappeared again. We finally had to find a manager to her our check and waited five more minutes to get it. It left a disappointment at the end of an amazing dinner.

Great selection and value for Christmas Eve dining! Wonderful rich lobster bisque with chunks of meat to start,followed by an 8oz filet mignon with crabmeat lumps. Other great choices as well. Personal service by U.T., our smiling waiter. Excellent wine choices with a wide price range. We had a nice quiet booth and went early before it got too busy. Impressive.

Bistro 555 was fabulous, we had the salmon lunch special and blueberry salad. The ambiance feels like a French bistro although the noise level is higher than I would prefer. I really like this restaurant.

Really loved the oysters and drinks. Pretty much the food they have there is really good. Always good service. But the one thing I dislike is the automatic service charge fee. Makes me really stay away from giving more on an additional tip. Don’t really know if that is going towards the waiter or if the restaurant keeping it.
