- JJenniLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was an amazing experience from the moment we stepped in. The welcome was warm and friendly and the setting perfect. The food was delicious and the perfect amount, we had three courses and every one was just right. The waitress was attentive and friendly, the speed of service was spot on. We would highly recommend this restaurant and even though we are only in Stratford upon Avon for a few nights we may return.More infoLoxley's Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• British• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.8
- CCarlyBerkshire •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoGreat atmosphere, warm, cozy and quiet enough to hold conversation. Wide range of foods on the menu and a choice of specials. Good drink selection. Some of the portion sizes were slightly small but that is my only criticism. What stood out was the excellent service. Attentive and friendly staff who could not do enough. Really outstanding.More infoThe One ElmPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.6
- MMatthewVIPCheshire •7 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoBooked as a Christmas treat as a romantic evening and the Cross delivered, absolutely on point with everything. The location is unassuming from the outside but is beautiful once you enter. Plenty of space for pre drinks before you enter the dining room. Whilst the dining room is intimate, you aren’t sat too close to other tables which tends to leave you feeling awkward in some fine dining establishments. The service was excellent with fantastic attention to detail. Before we ordered from the three course A là Carte, the Amuse-bouche and bread shared by the kitchen were both an absolute treat. The December menu that we were lucky enough to select from was outstanding. The duck egg for starters was a particular treat and we both had the fillet of beef cooked over coals - all elements outstanding with particular praise to the tartlet of beef check, perfectly executed. The deserts, we choose the Hazelnut praline Soufflé and the black forest gateau. I loved both but note the gateau packs a punch with its flavour, again something that was fantastic for me but could be a little too sweet/sour for others. Overall, you can’t go wrong with the Cross which I believe, was excellent value for money.More infoThe Cross at KenilworthPrice: Very Expensive• British• Kenilworth•4.8
