- OTOpenTable DinerCaribbean •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoi took my mother out for christmas dinner. we were promptly greeted and shown the way to the host stand before we even reached the stairs to the front door. there, the host was smiling and extra polite. the table was set to perfection. the whole team serving us were all spectacular- happy, friendly, knowledgeable. schuyler (sorry if the spelling is wrong) seemed very attentive to every question we had about the menu, he was definitely familiar with all details of the food. lauren came by our table a few times to make sure everything was spot on. she seemed happy to be helping out with everything- delivering some of our food, topping up our sparkling water. overall she seemed to go beyond expectations- even for the other tables around us. as for the food- my mother couldn’t stop complimenting the zucchini fritti appetizer. she had the market fish for her entree. she enjoyed every last bite (i got one bite as well, it was prepared and cooked wonderfully). i ordered the filet, rare plus. the temperature was great. i enjoyed the thinly sliced fennel, it paired well with it. we ordered broccolini as a side dish, and it was delightful- it had a hint of spice. desserts were divine. everything was an absolute pleasure, especially the staff. my one and only complaint was that the tables weren’t spaced apart that much. but we made friends with the lovely ladies dining next to us. i would highly recommend this place. the food and the entire staff made our experience top notch, and i look forward to returning.More infoSan Lorenzo at Hotel Saint VincentPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Garden District•4.8
- GGinaNew Orleans / Louisiana •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe went for lunch on Christmas Day. Their Christmas day menu was fantastic. All the food was delicious. We appreciated the extras such as the little charcuterie board and the bread. The staff was friendly and treated us very well. I only wish that they didn’t automatically add a tip to the check especially since there were just two of us.More infoThe Italian BarrelPrice: Expensive• Italian• French Quarter•4.6
- JJeffNew Orleans / Louisiana •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs always Antoine's was excellent. Antoine's is the #1 fine dining experience available anywhere in New Orleans, and it has never disappointed. My wife and I have been coming here for 27 years and have enjoyed each visit. The staff was professional, courteous, and easy to summon if we had a request for something. They have a pride in their establishment that comes across in their dealings with customers. Very few restaurants, even in New Orleans, can say that any longer. Russell and Roland were both consummate professionals and took exceptionally good care of us. And it was great to see Charles Carter again. Charles waited on us on our first visit 27 years ago and many times since, and has always made sure we're taken care of. The Reveillon menu dishes were prepared perfectly and were delicious as always. I was pleasantly surprised to see a NY Strip as a choice for the main course and both my wife and I received our steaks cooked perfectly. We even had a special request for dessert and it was handled with no problems. If you're coming to New Orleans, Antoine's is a must. How many restaurants can say they have been in business with the same family since 1840? I hope to still be around to enjoy a visit in their 200th anniversary year in 2040.More infoAntoine'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.6
