Best Restaurants with a Scenic View in Hackensack

Tonight was the annual Christmas dinner for my wife and I, and we were not disappointed. While the dining experience is a bit pricey, we always believe the quality of food, wine, ambience, and service is well worth it. Porterhouse is not just a great venue for quality steak, it has a diverse menu for anyone's taste or palette. Our favorite appetizer is the "slab" bacon (one order enough to be shared). The Japanese Wagyu steak is to die for and for seafood lovers, the Bronzino can not be beat. Happy holidays to all.

Make your reservations for tea service at BG! We had amazing service and it was so much fun to explore the store after. I wish they had lemon curd, overall the tea tray was delightful. Don’t skip the deviled egg and caviar bites!

We celebrated our 5th anniversary there, the place was very busy and extra busy bc of the holiday seasons, everything was wonderful from service to food except out table for two was in a very high traffic area so I was consistently bumped by people, steak was great and so was our server, located next to Fox News building so expect some familiar faces

Dined here last night with my best friend of over 40 years. We wanted something charming and festive for the holidays, with good food and a lovely ambience. We were extremely pleased and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the drinks tasty, the service above and beyond, (attentive and thoughtful, yet not intrusive), and the atmosphere glittering and perfect for the season. While it was packed, it still didn’t feel cramped, (we had plenty of room around us), and we could easily talk while all around us engaged in their happy times, too. We had the Tuna tartare appetizer, (REALLY good!) and the Havenly chicken, which was extremely delicious. I’d recommend both! All in all, a wonderful night and we will absolutely come back! Booked back in July, and got there and didn’t have a table due to company Christmas parties. They finally fit us in later.
