Best Seasonal Restaurants in Central Austin

This is a fantastic venue for a work lunch. The atmosphere is elegant, and the attention to detail is evident in everything, from the ambient candles in the bathroom to the beautifully presented mocktails we enjoyed. I have two minor suggestions for improvement: first, our table for four felt a bit cramped given the size of the plates, and second, while we ordered three dips, we felt that the pita was not replenished as frequently as we would have liked. Overall, however, I would rate the experience a solid 10/10. I highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning in the future.

10/10 experience! The sushi is authentic, Chef Endo doesn’t over complicate it; he keeps the dishes simple and delicious. Everything was fresh and the cherry on top was truly Chef Endo and his staff— they were very warm, welcoming, excellent hosts! Definitely recommend this omakase experience.

Fabrik is an intimate venue w/ a pleasing ambiance and delightful staff that provides a unique prix fixe dining experience in gourmet vegan cuisine that is certainly unique to Austin and based on our experience, most other cities throughout the US. The food and dinner service is outstanding and we were amazed by what the chefs and kitchen were able to produce and serve using solely vegan ingredients. Having said that, if you're a carnivore w/ limited exposure to vegetarian or vegan cooking, you may still leave wanting for your usual portion of animal protein or fat, but you certainly won't be disappointed in the breadth, quality and production of this completely amazing kitchen and staff!

Sliders: 10/10 Stuffed Mushrooms: 10/10 Steak and Tots: 10/10 Escargot: (Charred) 2/10 NY Strip: 10/10 Bacon Wrapped Filet: 8/10 Asparagus: 9/10 Lump Crap/Sauces: 9/10 Bread: 10/10 Au Gratin Potatoes: 10/10 Grilled Veggies: 8/10 (carrots undercooked) Dessert Trio: 10/10 Creme Brulee: 10/10 Paloma: 9/10 Blueberry Cucumber Martini: 10/10 Service: 10/10 (knowledgeable, swift, personal, upselling) Lighting/Environment: 10/10 Definitely will be back! Porkchops and Seafood next visit!

I like this place and staff was great too, but my steak and frites came out both cold, barely warm. It was still tasty though but not what I expected for the cost. I really didn’t have time to send it back just pushed through cold meat and frites lol
