Best Seasonal Restaurants in Cold Spring Harbor

We went with a party of 6. Our server was Jade. She was very professional and attentive to our table! The drinks were excellent( I had a watermelon martini). The food was delicious! We had the fried calamari, sweet chili shrimp and grilled octopus for appetizers. It was amazing! Dinner I had the 10oz filet which was cooked perfectly! The donuts with dulce de leche made for a perfect ending to our meal! We will definitely be going back!

We enjoyed everything on Saturday at Besitos. They go out of their way to be accommodating. We asked for a specific table and although they could not guarantee it in advance they managed to give it to us—on a Saturday night with a full house. Even though they were very busy we never felt rushed. It was a wonderful experience. The margaritas and the food was excellent as always. Besitos is consistently excellent.

Anthony was THEE absolute best waiter we ever had in our entire life. Not only is he such a great person but his attentive and accommodating nature was unbelievable! He made our dinner experience a 10 besides the food being amazing !!! I hope he makes partner !!! 😀

We have been coming here since the restaurant opened, probably 4-5 times now. The food is always consistently excellent. We felt there was some issues at the beginning with the service, in terms of not being attentive enough, but that may have been related to being short staffed. That seems to have been resolved. Last night's meal was outstanding all around. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive, the level of service you would expect to find at a quality restaurant but often don't. It did get louder as the evening progressed, but our party of four was easily able to carry on a conversation throughout, something we are also finding hard to do at many restaurants. Quickly becoming one of our favorite haunts.

We started off with mussels as an appetizer which were very well done; however, they were stingy on the bread only providing one slice. A second piece was eventually provided but the waitress, who was pleasant, pointed out that one order of mussels came with only one piece of bread. The striped bass (special) and steak bits were okay. Our dessert consisted of cappuccino and gelato which was a nice ending.
