Best Seasonal Restaurants in Dartmouth

I generally love everything I get at Joe’s. However, two of us got the goat cheese salad and both of us were disappointed that it changed. Bring back the old recipe! Other than that, everything was fantastic. Our waitress Gabby was efficient and very personable.

Overall, we had an excellent experience. The service was great, and the food was excellent. However, the heat could have been turned up; everyone was sitting on their hands.

Our waitress was fantastic and our meals were delicious! My dad had the chicken tortilla soup and fish and chips when he really enjoyed. I had oysters and shrimp cocktail to start and the nigiri sampler. The shrimp were HUGE and the sushi was super fresh! We closed out the night with the carrot cake and brownie sundae. I forgot that you need a small army to finish a desert here so there was lots left over! Another delicious meal and excellent service! Music by Mel filled the space once the game was over finishing off a very chill vibe!

Not our first time there and as usual they didn’t disappoint. Food was on time and delicious especially the chowder. Drinks were great as well. We’ll be back.

My husband and I always enjoy The Black Whale. We both had drinks. I had my favorite, pear martini and he tried the special with Bullet Rye in it but I forget what the other ingredients were . I ordered from the special menu tonight. I had the baked stuffed shrimp and my husband ordered the blackened swordfish from the regular menu. Both were excellent. I suggested to the manager that they put the baked stuffed shrimp on the regular menu but he said that would not happen because they cannot make enough money from this dish. At $32, this surprised me since shrimp is not that expensive on the market. In saying that, I’m a little disappointed, but they have many great entrees on the menu. The staff, service, etc was excellent. Can’t go wrong if you want an excellent meal here.
