We’re surrounded by wonderful local farmers and growers, and we aim to make the most of this by using locally-produced ingredients whenever possible. Our meat is sourced from our nearby family farm, and most of our fish is supplied by our very own fleet of fishing boats. Here at the Kings Arms, we serve a varied, locally-sourced menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all available in the bar, conservatory and outdoor terraces. We will happily accommodate different dietary requirements, with friendly and informal table service wherever you choose to sit.

The service was amazing. I had the scallops to start fresh and well cooked. The beetroot starter was well presented and flavours well twinned. The venison and steak prepared to request and the extra garlic mayo was the best ever tasted. Cocktails and pebbledbed sparkling rose spectacular. Artic Roll desert so yummy pared with the Artic cocktail a treat not to miss. Overall the best meal since they have opened. Better than Lympstone Manor.

An outstanding lunch for our Anniversary. From the moment we arrived the visit became special, the staff attention to detail was a delight and the lunch tasting menu was perfect with the accompanying wine flight. The staff were amazing - never there until they were needed but attentive and efficient around every course, then they disappeared again! Wonderful. A perfect enue that has been a delight on every visit!

A wonderful setting in a very pretty village. Seating is limited so it is advised to book in advance. The service is well drilled and we did not experience any problems. We ordered our meal and the waitress did tell us there would be quite a wait. Not a problem and well worth the 45 minutes. Please remember that this is freshly cooked food and quality produce. If you want a quick "ping" meal then best think about going to a large pub chain! All of our meals arrived pipping hot and well worth the wait, fantastic. We also met the two sisters who are the chefs and they told us that they along with a sisters husband have been there for 20 years. They were very passionate about what they do and how they source the produce as local as possible. A lovely evening and we will be revisiting again in the new year.
