Best Seasonal Restaurants in Katy

It was a 4 people reservation for my wife’s birthday and she was greeted since checking in with the hostess, and a card given was a nice gesture. The food as always was great, only issue was that both my wife’s and my plate came (pork chops) only little warm almost cold, same was the cream spinach, the other two plates were adequately hot. I ordered Arnold Palmer and is always good, but this time was practically with no flavor, it was replaced and with no ice, and still was only slightly better, but it was both the tea and lemonade very diluted… The server was great as they always are.

Our server Divya was most hospitable, smiling, knowledgeable of the menu offerings, and prompt! My asked her a question about shrimp, and to my wife’s delight, Divya had the tails removed before bringing a wonderful plate of Alfredo with shrimp. My wife had asked why restaurants leave tails on, and our server took care of it! The meal was great, and came quickly! Thanks for a great holiday meal, Landry’s!

Went a couple of days before Christmas 2024, 8pm. Place had a handful of other tables filled, so noise was present but not bad. Food choices are varied enough for discerning palettes. But the web menu for this place is what impressed me-descriptions and pictures for most if not all items. Our server was polite, made suggestions, and knew enough about menu to answer questions about it. We are planning a return to this restaurant.

Always great food, the menus has expanded giving more options and selections. A DJ was entertaining tge restaurant which was fun. It was a nice surprised as a large group we got the opportunity to sit in the private wine room which was perfect for us!

Picky eaters who are craving for fresh seafood delivered to you right from Japan, please read this review. My requirements for food are very high, I have very sensitive palate to any even mildly non-fresh produce. The food here was amazing!!!! Seriously. Two days ago we were trying to celebrate personal event at Roka Akor and food quality there was so bad compared to Torii. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was mouthwatering and fresh/premium quality. Please order Truffle Tuma - unforgettable taste! Their uniju with eel - such a delish warm premium eel. Also hamachi maki roll was right Japanese quality with no sauces just plane and balanced taste. Even miso soup is full with seaweed - yum! The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great and they played Louis Armstrong ….ahhh it was such a wonderful visit. Highly recommended.
