- MMadisonVIPScranton / Poconos •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely fantastic. We came for Valentine’s Day dinner and the menu was amazing! Got the lobster tail for appetizer, lobster ravioli, and the veal parmigiana! Once we got our bill we were told “someone took care of it” so thankful and surprised. Staff were great, good was great we will absolutely be back!More infoLa VeronaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kennett Square•4.5
- KKaylaBaltimore / Maryland •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHad an excellent valentines dinner at the house of William and merry! Our server was awesome in his recommendations and was not overbearing in checking in on us often. We tried their house Syrah wine, which was excellent, and HIGHLY recommend the duck wings as an appetizer. will be going back!More infoThe House of William & MerryPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.9

- TCTheCuddlersTakePhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Dec 2017Look, I've visited many of the top restaurants in the region, and as a former restaurant owner, I believe have a pretty good understanding of the business and food, so these comments are not made lightly. From top-to-bottom, THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER VISITED; the list is long. I took a while to visit because I wanted to give the place a chance. I haven't heard a lot a buzz but was aware of the opening. Also, I was not impressed with the previous restaurant in the location - and unfortunately that plays a part in the perception. The concept is executed to perfection. It is warm and inviting, but not pretentious. The food is excellent. The pizza is a work of art; you won't find better pie around here - more on the pizza later. I've sampled the menu several times over the past couple of weeks and have not been disappointed in many items. I was not surprised to learn that the head chef was renowned. I could tell. The service is courteous. The one male bar tender has just the perfect personality to be the face of the bar. He is friendly, funny and jovial. The service crew is bought-in and seemingly enjoy their jobs. Bad attitudes by blue collars kill restaurants. This place got that right - with the exception of one person, who I won't call out here - would be happy to share my insight with mgt. Manny, the guy that runs the Pizza oven, is just a master. I say this in all seriousness - it was a pleasure to watch him work last night. He so focused, takes his craft very seriously. He is a real pro - not one of these folks who just comes to work. The Pizza is perfect in every way. He is a true jewel. So much can be learned from folks like Manny especially the overly-privileged and snotty brand in this area. My only gripe is the beer menu. Not enough variety. Too many IPAs and light beers. No seasonal, brown or seriously crafted brews. Another piece of advice - remove yourself from Yelp. Yelpers are cheapsters who destroy good businesses.More infoHearth KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kennett Square•5
