- TThomasLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoA fantastic experience, among the best of fine dining available. The aesthetic and atmosphere is beautiful & relaxing, the tables are spacious and we didn’t feel clustered in at all. The food was beyond delicious; from the duck, pork & chicken terrine with pickled vegetables, to the mouth-watering venison flank (cooked to perfection) and outstanding truffle mashed potato. The staff were lovely, especially the manager of the night who was attentive, respectful and generously assisted when I asked for a video for a special occasion. The gentleman who sorted our drinks (especially pairing a lovely Bordeaux to my venison and a Chablis to the chicken dish) was also wonderful. For special occasions, this is a truly lovely place.More infoClos MaggiorePrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.6
- MMarkVIPWashington, D.C. Area •18 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCORE is exceptional. We've been fortunate enough to have been to a significant number of Michelin 3 stars. We both agreed this is a top 5. It's hard to add anything meaningful to the prior positive reviews. I'll add a couple of items I haven't seen much in the reviews. First, my wife is a vegetarian and CORE accommodated that beautifully. Second, the price of CORE, is very fair, particularly when compared with other 3 stars. We both had the classic menu, drank a nice bottle of Malbec, had two cocktails and some cognac. The bill was less than $1,000 US. While that is still a lot of money for a meal, it's probably the least we've paid at the 20 plus 3 stars we have now been to. Finally, we were impressed that the founder was very visible and friendly to patrons throughout the evening. That's something we are increasingly seeing less of in 3 star restaurants. It was nice to be greeted by her as we walked by the kitchen. It seems ridiculous to give a review and not talk about the food at all. It is exceptional and I have no insights that other reviewers have not already provided. This is a 3 star restaurant in every respect.More infoCORE by Clare SmythPrice: Very Expensive• British• Notting Hill•4.8
- JjordanVIPIndiana •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days ago10/10. Even the bathrooms are worth checking out. Every inch of the restaurant has immaculate detail. The food and service made it even better. Get the beef carpaccio to start, followed by the rigatoni and tiramisu for dessert. Definitely will be back!More infoBacchanaliaPrice: Very Expensive• Greek• Mayfair•4.4
- JJossLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA refreshingly different menu using seasonal ingredients. We enjoyed everything we ordered which was more filling than we had expected. (Had to take some home in a doggy bag). Quite expensive for what we had but I am slowly getting used to having to pay more, quite a lot more, in good restaurants these days. Service was excellent and ambience was great.More infoThe ParakeetPrice: Very Expensive• Gastro Pub• Kentish Town•4.8
