Craftsmanship at its finest is displayed at Sushi Noz, where guests experience our seasonal omakase menu curated nightly by Chef Nozomu Abe. Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. The centerpiece of our first dining room is our 8-seat, 200-year-old hinoki wood sushi bar and traditional ice chest, where Chef Noz refrigerates the evening's neta selections. This place is fantastic! Excellent Italian on the UES. From the phenomenal service to the delicious food, I can’t recommend this place enough. They always have some wonderfully inventive specials, and last night it was a flatbread with mozzarella, toasted grapes and a balsamic glaze. Delicious. I had the pappardelle bolognese, which is a staple and is outstanding. Some of the other favorites at our table included 2 other pasta dishes and the mussels. They had a s’mores semifredo as a dessert and it was exceptional. We will be back!!

Absolutely LOVED our first time at Carmines! From the service to the food everything was spectacular. It felt like we were part of the family and not only did Sarah, our sever, make sure we were well taken care of but everyone else who took our plates or tidied our table was so attentive and friendly. Definitely one of those core memory experiences. 10/10 Carmines…we will see you again :)

Our first time at Sistina and we will return again. The restaurant is extraordinarily beautiful and the noise levels are low. The wait staff and everyone e working ate extremely friendly and professional. The staff was patient and accommodating.The food was excellent.. Absolutely perfect and 5 Star.
