- LleeBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was our anniversary so our evening started with an anniversary card signed by the staff and complimentary champagne!! I had divine cream of crab soup, velvety with lots of crab! My husband’s escargot was perfection and the bread and French butter the perfect accompaniments! My halibut was tasty but a bit overwhelmed by the vegetables. My husband said his duck was the best he’d ever tasted and loved the beets and pomagranet sauce!! The setting was charming and intimate, only the seats could use a cushion! The background music was soft and set a lovely tone! Our server was wonderful! Welcoming, helpful and always thoughtful! What a lovely experience!More infoLa FablePrice: Very Expensive• French• Rehoboth Beach•4.9
- PPamelaPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI dined here for the Feast of the Seven Fishes: 6 seafood dishes plus dessert. Not all the dishes were successful, but I applaud the chef’s originality. IMO, the exceptional dishes were: 1. The first one, oysters with a champagne toast. What was exceptional was the hint of ginger. 2. My second favorite, the second one with thinly sliced raw baby octopus and white truffles with a blood orange vinaigrette. 3. My favorite, the sixth course, olive oil poached catfish with caviar. The catfish was so so so good! One It was pillowy soft and delicious. Its sweetness and richness was nicely offset by the arugula salad. 4. The seafood soup. Not overly rich and the mussels, cockles and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The less successful dishes for me were: 1. The fried baccalia and artichokes. I found the fish overcooked and way too salty. 2. The squid ink spaghettini. The pasta was bland and while the uni butter and chili emulsion were excellent, there wasn’t enough of them. Dessert was average. Not too sweet. My biggest complaint was the mousse which was too hard and thick. Service was excellent and I very much appreciated how each dish was described to us.More infoDrift- Seafood & Raw BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Rehoboth Beach•4.7
- PPeterVIPWashington, D.C. Area •86 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoCharles always ensures we are warmly welcomed to the classic Blue Moon, and graciously accommodated the last minute addition of guests at our table. Kathryn provided fantastic service, learning everyone’s names at the table of 7. The Holiday Legends Show was fantastic - as the food always is! The Blue Moon is a local treasure!More infoBlue MoonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Rehoboth Beach•4.8
- MmartyWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024We sat at the bar for the first time and found it very comfortable. The cocktails were inspired, food wonderful and service great. Menu contains items not found elsewhere in Rehoboth (mushroom bruschetta, grilled octopus ) and more traditional items are prepared in a different manner (beet salad) that was amazing.More infoShorebreak LodgePrice: Expensive• American• Rehoboth Beach•4.8
- CCelesteSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024If you have eaten at DC's Equinox, where Todd Gray is the Chef, you will know the quality of food served here at The Federal. The monthly 7 course, pre-fix pairing is "amazing" and the Wednesday night 4 course with the pairing is optional. Plus you can get their amazing fritters any day as well. The atmosphere is fun and very "european" in style in that you can should you want, chat with your table neighbors or sit in the bar area for dinner. Ellen does a great job of making you feel welcome and also that you are a happy customer. You can tell she loves her restaurant, food and history. Don't miss this!More infoThe Federal RehobothPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Rehoboth Beach•4.9
