Best Seasonal Restaurants in Richmond

Great menu, large selection, seafood is fresh and dishes are elegant. Great for a date night.

I've been to this restaurant 5-6 times, and the service has usually been quite disappointing. Most of the time, the servers seemed too busy to pay attention to me. However, today was different. The female server and the male host who seated me actually made me feel like the restaurant cared about its service. For the first time here, a server proactively asked if I wanted a drink refill, which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully, this level of service continues

Buffett was good but I was expecting prime rib and seafood and was disappointed I couldn’t have those. The today beef was good though. Very busy as it was valentines and I’m glad I made reservations ahead of time.

I went to the Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas. So I had to come and try their beef Wellington. We ordered some bread, mac n cheese, beef Wellington, and mushroom risotto. I hate to admit, the beef Wellington wasn’t as good as the one in Vegas and also their signature sticky toffee pudding wasn’t as milky as the one there too. However, I did enjoy their bread, and also their mushroom risotto, I think it’s a must try. I see they do have other appetizers that interests me, however the food portion isn’t small, and it’s quite filling. The service was absolutely amazing! Every detail was presented with precision. We live in Richmond and often feel like we need to go downtown to have this type of dining experience. Beautiful setting, attentive and personable service with Bear, great cocktails and food. Sablefish was one of the best I have had, and sake tasting was something new ! Look forward to going back with friends to try some different menu items. Thank you House of Dawn !
