Best Seasonal Restaurants in San José del Cabo

Amazing experience overall! Drinks and food were well woth it, staff was incredible. I got one of the mezcal drinks (not the sweet one) and the broccoli and charred fried onions (forget the name) and the short rib. All great options with great detail and closed the night off with pumpkin pie that was sinful. Will be coming back on my next trip.

We totally enjoyed our dinner at Acre; it was a wonderful experience, enhanced by the excellent service from Victor, our waiter. We sat upstairs, and it was more quiet/serene than the bar and restaurant below. Favorites were the Cheddar Biscuits - order more than you think, Risotto with squash, and the fresh fish entree was outstanding. Don't pass on the beet salad - one of the best we ever had. Also, the Key Lime dessert is very different than expected, but a highlight. Only two issues: A loud obnoxious guest who arrived mid-way through our dinner, foul language. I did not complain to management, but he definitely was not polite or considerate of the staff, or nearby diners. One other issue - long wait for ladies' rest room (limited rest rooms) due to a very large wedding on site - management should consider more rest rooms closer to the event venue, if they are going to have a full restaurant (They did that night), and over 100 wedding guests.

The Kitchen brings a unique ambiance in San Jose. Centered around its kitchen, the restaurant is beautiful and you can see the care that goes into your meal firsthand. The sourdough and beets appetizers were amazing, and we loved the steak and sea bass. We will be back!

We typically go to Seared at Palmilla for steak. This trip we came here as a recommendation. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Seared. The steak here is AMAZING. The filet was cooked perfectly both times (we’ve already been here twice in three days…) - for reference I eat my steak medium rare. The crabcakes to start are delicious. As is the clam chowder. The sides creamed spinach and asparagus are absolutely delicious. The ambience here in their beautifully lit garden with live music (one night the mariachi band did an incredible rendition of Hotel California and Black Magic Woman from Santana. Incredible. Tonight is a guitarist/singer playing acoustic who is wonderful and the perfect amount of background music with a great combination of English and Spanish songs that you easily know. Overall just the perfect dining experience!!
