Best Seasonal Restaurants in Castleford

Went in with some friends for my birthday . Food was really good and even cooked 1 without garlic as requested . Could not fault it at all . Was quiet as it was Sunday night and where we were seated could see the chefs busy cooking the food . Will definitely visit again

This place is 10/10 all round! Absolutely stunning inside, From the furnishings, to the decor… just stunning! We were instantly greeted by a warm and friendly lady, taken straight to our table and attended to promptly. The food for us was incredible, I am not one to leave reviews however this place can not go unnoticed! We ordered lots off the menu, the meat was so succulent, the rice was fluffy and light, the beef and bone marrow curry is quite possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten. The calamari and fish was both superb and also the fried chicken was unbelievable. We ordered lots to share so we was lucky enough to taste most things of menu and I can honestly say the 1hr30mins drive was worth it, we most certainly will be back. Also I have to mention the masala chai.. Wow the best I have ever had by far, in fact I ordered another one. Over all great staff, great place and unbelievable value for such quality. First of all a BIG THANK YOU to Viv and her team of staff for always make me feel very welcome into the pub. O Today for Sunday lunch being vegetarian I had the mushroom & tarragon pudding with fresh seasonal vegetables and fluffy crisp roast potatoes and gravy. The Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection and very filling I had no room for a pudding. I would highly recommend a visit for food and drinks.

Fabulous food, atmosphere and service. Warm and welcoming staff, fast service and the food was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the brisket and rib combo, and the chicken and prawns with spicy mac and cheese was delicious. Will definitely be back!
