The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.     What a meal !!! We started with the snacks - bread and herb butter and croquettes (incredible)- then French onion soup and the Parfait - also amazing. Then shared the sirloin steak that was faultless. The recommended wine was perfectly paired and a shared dessert was divine. Service was excellent- and I didn’t realise they are dog friendly!! Will definitely return - thank you for a fabulous lunch 😍

    We had Lasagna and it was exquisite, pasta penne arrabiata was very spice, too much hot chillis, my mouth was on fire, i am half italian and lived in italy for 10 years but never had arrabiata so spicy, if i wanted a curry i could have gone to a curry house so i dont recommend the arrabiata dish.

    We’ve been here a few times now. The food is amazing. The Sunday roast is the best! We went on a week night this time and enjoyed the sea food chowder with a side of chips. We had shared starters and a dessert! Loved it all. The staff are fabulous; attentive and friendly. The building is cute and cosy. Fairy lights and candles. Would throughly recommend, but you need to book well in advance! It’s popular. Rightly so.
