In fact the whole staff was the same way (which is a surprise for New Years Day because a lot of restaurants don't care on that day) I had the potato soup as an appetitizer which was tasty and filling. for the main i had the filet mignon with a loaded baked potato and seasonal veggies. Perhaps a wise decision since their portions are quite healthy! For us, the standout was the fritura mista ... it was light, delicious, and seasoned to perfection! The chicken marsala was well balanced with grilled seasonal vegetables and, as requested, not overtly heavy on the marsala cream sauce. Lastly, our server Tony was incredible.
